Bought it because mirrors can only show so much. Easy enough to set up, but first time out I noticed the image was choppy and lethargic. Unit was constantly loosing signal, most often in crowded urban areas but on the open highway as well. At one point I noticed I was being passed by a vehicle that still showed on the screen as behind the trailer. Figured maybe it had to do with the distance between the camera and receiver (even though it was less than 15 meters) or that the fiberglass body of the travel trailer was somehow blocking the signal so I got an external 2.4G 3dB gain stub and extension cable that allowed me to mount the antenna on the roof near the front of the unit. roof. I mounted on the front of the travel trailer. Signal is now rock steady and any delay is maybe half a second at the most. Adding the external antenna means I can now trust it for backing into a campsite without worrying about running over the wife or someones kids.
